The Clarksville Child Development Center is now taking applications for the Fall 2010 school year. The centers offer free preschool and child care for families who qualify using these income guidelines. The center offers the following programs:
- Head Start -- provides comprehensive child development services to economically disadvantaged children and families The program serves children ages 3 to 5.
- Early Head Start -- The program serves children ages 6 weeks to 3 years and pregnant mothers.
- Arkansas Better Chance Infant/Toddler -- The program serves children ages 6 weeks to 3 years.
- Arkansas Better Chance Preschool -- The program serves children ages 3 to 5.
- Developmental Child Care -- Child Development, Inc. participates in the Child Care Voucher Program, through the Arkansas Department of Health and Human Services. This program is designed to provide child care for parents who are working, attending school or enrolled in a training program. CDI also allows parents whose income exceeds Head Start requirements to pay for child care services.
Families must meet income guidelines and children must be at least 3 years old by Aug. 15 for Head Start and Aug. 1 for ABC Preschool.

Licensing
All Child Development, Inc. Preschool Centers are compliant, Licensed Child Care Providers. Our licenses are issued by the State of Arkansas Department of Health & Human Services Division of Child Care and Early Childhood Education. CDI invites you to view our licensing status via the DHHS Website.
